The only downside to it is that you gotta make sure your phone is connected as well, but otherwise i’ve been waiting for this app for ages and it’s finally here

video from photo booth is not supported

The only bad thing is the impossibility to listen the vocal messages.

Works well on the Mac. Dragging out of pictures works well, though this does not work for Videos. I have been using for 2 weeks, no problems so far.

This is a great product. Fast install and zero issues. Works just like the mobile version. I highly recommend it.

I transfered the phone app to the desk top. The phone app has no problem with quicktime files but the desktop version seems to not support quicktime media which is surprising..still a very solid app though

I spend some time in front of computer and cell phone on my side, but having this app on my screen makes communication in one place and easy to handle.

I have tried a few different apps for Mac for Whatsapp and have to say this is by far the best I have come across. The extra features offered in addition to the ability to offer video chat #facetime#apple. It operates smoothly and the messages actually pop up on my mac about 15 seconds before they show up on my phone. Definitely worth buying this app.

I’m am currently pushing my friends towards this App. Ultimately I see this as the death of Skype. I’ve only begun using WhatsApp, but I see the possibilities. Again I’m not using physical force, but I’m pushing it pretty hard. Most of my friends live overseas and I have found it so convient. I even went so far as to help pay for my friend to upgrade his phone so he can WhatsApp. He didn’t go for it, things take time, people become familiar with what they know. Have to fight inertia. But have no fear people(developers) its time is almost here. I’m already after 3 weeks asking, “Do you have WhatsApp”? Summary I like it. Who knows maybe learn to HAVE to HAVE it. Better communication tools like WhatsApp is where its at. Hopefully the market doesnt get flooded and everyone on’s something different. Stand out, make yourself indispensable. Keep the up-dates coming.

I have family and friends on WhatsApp..and like iMessage, I wanted to be able to send/receive text on my MBP during the day rather than being glued to the phone. I searched for the desktop version and was estatic when I found Whatsapp for Apple OS. I promptly download it, installed it and began my furious typing and returning texts. Now I can receive and send text messages via MBP vs. being on the iPhone. I especially LOVE the fact that you can set a password to opening the app so no one would be able to read any of your texts if they happen to be on your MBP. Excellent app and LOVE IT!!!
